  President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, December 16, approved the reopening of four land borders, after more than one year of closure. The minister of finance, Zainab Ahmed, who announced the reopening of the four borders, added that the remaining ones will be reopened on or before Thursday,  December 31. Ahmed, however, noted that the ban on importation of rice, poultry, among others remained enforced despite the reopening. Falz reveals two youths appointed to ensure victims of police brutality get justice in Lagos  - A judicial panel has been set up to look into the cases of police brutality in the state  - Rinu Oduala and Temitope Oanu-Davis were appointed as the youths that will be representing others in the state  - Both Rinu and Temitope were said to be at the forefront of the protests  Nigerian singer Falz has taken to his page on Twitter to share the names of the two youths that will be on the Lagos judicial panel to investigate the cases of police brutality in the state. After several deliberations, Falz stated that Rinu Oduala and Temitope Oanu-Davis were the youths appointed to be on the panel.   - President Buhari is having a meeting with former leaders over unrest in the country  - Some youths have been protesting over the activities of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS)  - Buhari had on Thursday, October 22, addressed Nigerians over the protests President Muhammadu Buhari is currently having an emergency meeting with former leaders and security chiefs at Aso Villa The Nation reports that the purpose of the meeting is yet to be disclosed.
